A Celebration of Bubbles, Culture & Pairings

Another education event, this one’s been quietly fizzing behind the scenes. Chef @wyatt.whyte and Somm @bord_heaux will be your hosts for a night dedicated to all things bubbly; from traditional-method champagne to ancestral method, cider to beer. We’re exploring how carbonation, texture, weight, and flavour shape the way bubbles meet cheese.

If you’ve been to Wine & Cheese School before, you know the drill… Considered, seated, delicious. On this special evening at Loopline, we’re pairing eight cheeses with eight different styles of bubbles to show just how far the spectrum really goes.

Guests will be guided through a tasting that highlights craftsmanship, character, and the joyful chaos of fermentation. Expect contrasts and harmonies: creamy brie with crisp champagne-method bubbles, washed rind funk lifted by bright cider, and the savoury depth of alpine cheese beside a foam-kissed beer.

This isn’t just cheese and bubbles. It’s a story of craft, the magic of carbonation, and the simple pleasure of great things in great company.
